It's like he judt needed some love and he didn't have anyone but then there was Adele but he didn't know how to show his love towards her because he didn't receive any but was instead faced with violence leading to him treating her that way thinking it was OK because that's how he was brought up. Honestly i like this. I dont rly like romance but this book is actually good because it actually focuses more on the life of bring an emperor instead of it just being romance and just fluffy and all that. I like how it's going so far because again it does not focus on romance at all but I know there will be some in the future just now it's going well. And for those who said they find this boring because it's getting political and all then what did you expect for an emperor to live like? No care in life and just drool over man? It does not work like that and there needs to be action blus huge politics because there are so many corruption in nobility and rich people so as an emperor she obviously has so much work to do in order to keep everything in place leaving a very small spot for romance and so stop complaining and just leave
Thisssss. I find the pacing nice, romance subtlety around but not to a point where it interferes the MC's decisions and no huge political battles right off the bat (except the first arc where she gets the snake executed and not herself, the other was more settle lol).
True and at first it was expected because she would have died if she didn't make any decision and didn't clear the masterpiece behind her death but I look forward to what it brings to the future
