Tbh I hate the bodyguard too. Idk if its just me but he comes off as an over-confident loyal dog with no respect. Thinking of airin as no more than baggage. Which is reasonable, but the way his thoughts abt her are portrayed just gives me a huge ick.
This chapter (40), overall just looked like a bunch of naive people put in a room forced to converse. Clueless airin, useless bodyguard, stupid president thinking he could trick mc, mc’s brother which has no self-awareness (still love him tho, our puppy boy), and mc who obvi has a plan and is just acting like a naive prophet who only has his ability. Still disappointed me tho how this chapter was layout, wish there was more intelligent moves from the characters (even mc). Love this story so far dont get me wrong, probably in my top fav, but still expected so much more from this whole event.
