Jokes aside... I do agree with you. Considering age gaps in fantasy doesn't make much sense, even more so if it involves long lived races like elfs, dwarves and etc. There's a comic called "Growing Tired of the Lazy High Elf Life After 120 Years" that shows very well this age perspective because he is a not just a elf but a high elf... basically eternal like vampires... but the people and friends he makes in his adventures... are not... but I digress..
Unfortunately I also do get a bit of op's concern (even if I don't think it really applies to this comic). We do see a lot of subtle grooming in comics... and there's also the fact that most mangá female love interests have childish faces even when they have big jugglers. Not to mention... the "legal lolis" where they are adults or vampires and such with kids bodies and such... so I get worrying a bit with age gaps in comics...
But honestly my main problem with op's point in specific... is that no one would be bothered if it was the contrary. If she was the one who fell for the 16yo and planned to look for him after she grew no one would've said anything. Even if in teory mc is 30yo+ on the inside. I won't even mention how much we see of this age problem with lame reincarnated mc cuz oof... there's some where they even sexualyze being breastfed as babies and its dis-fricking-gusting.
This overlooking in grooming worries me as much as the "they are not really blood related" in the siblings to lovers trope because it kinda normalizes some things that to me shouldn't be.
But yeah... as long as both parties are of consenting age (and were not groomed) I'm fine with big age gaps... xD

I think I have like 10 in my list so far (idk if some of them are even Isekai, all of them fit into the fantasy genre tho lol).
