I read Akumakira's translations first and they are very good. I tried reading the rest of it, but the translation is god awful (at least as far as I read). Its so bad I suspect its MTL.
I hope Akumakira or another good translator translates the rest of it :(

the seme is definitely an asshole but tbh it makes it interesting, I want to know why this dude is coming back for him after all this time. He basically implies he could have found the MC at any time given his resources and the MC leaving a trail, but what does he gain from this? A child he clearly had no interest in until now? And why is he offering a (slightly) better deal to MC so he and the kid stay together? He's clearly a dick, why the bare minimum kindness now? Maybe he likes that it'll make the MC rely on him, maybe he still doesn't want to raise the kid but he needs to claim the kid one way or another, and at least this way he gets the kid but doesn't have to actually raise him.
Im not saying the other "MC gets knocked up and runs away from powerful/rich partner" where the ML is "good" or nice is bad, but Im glad this series is doing something different. And so far, the story hasn't tried to excuse the ML, even the MC realizes he's a pretty cold dude. The bar is low, but I appreciate when a story isn't afraid to have characters that aren't good (even a little cruel) but also the world/plot/characters ect acknowledge that they're shitty.
normally I can put up with a little bit of meh translation but Im barely a page into ch77 and im like huh??? do the translators not even proof read??

am I the only one that kind of felt he was justified in breaking the flower? like he puts up with a lot of shit from this random freeloader he was forced to take on out of nowhere, and he finds out that the dude can very clearly pay for his own lodges but is just choosing to live there despite that?
i know flowers aren't to blame here but considering the MC's personality and how much the freeloading panther is invading his space, I don't think its that surprising or unfair. Like u don't keep poking an angry bear and then blame the bear for lashing out?
the description makes it pretty clear that the MC hides/presents as another gender but there's no tag for gender bender. Is the MC legitimately trans then? or do they just very briefly present as another gender and then spend most of the plot regularly.

At times the MC feels cool, but the story constantly undermines him with Zhenya, especially when Zhenya is throwing up so many red flags. I know his HQ said he could trust this "Zhenya" but I feel like its ridiculous that a career spy would not have already started heavily questioning it all by now. Instead he just kind of shrugs it off?
oh ok the better translation seems to imply that Lucrezia was married to the Cardinal already when she got pregnant with Ipollolito the affair child, which makes more sense than the implication she was already noticeably pregnant when she married Simone (unless he's so nice of a guy and didn't mind?).
And I guess Isabella too? Its pretty heavily implied she is to, but she's brazenly left out of the conversation entirely its like she doesn't exist! its awkward that no one is acknowledging Isabella, even if its just to confirm suspicions.
but im confused... whose simone? it looks like the cardinal, down to the green eyes and hair, but she seems to imply she loves him? Did she love the cardinal at first? but then why have the affairs? why think of him as she's dying, and not the lover?

A rather awful realization regardless for Ariadne, that after all the horrid shit her family and society put her through for being a product of an affair, it turns out the two golden children of the family were also illegitimate. And seeing Lucrezia give her life for someone who didn't even care for her in the end and threw her away like garbage, mirrors Ari's previous life.
I loooove this part of a series, the "chase" arc. RUUNNN TAEUI!!! it will be for naught but I love watching it. It makes the reunion all the sweeter the harder u run~
I think it was Ilay that said it, but the ppl drawn to Taeui are greedy (possessive) types. Ilay wants Taeui all to himself, and only Taeui.
As suspected, it seems Isabella also isnt the cardinals child, but this brings up so many questions...
1) why didnt Ariadne question her about this? She kept skipping Isabella, it's very obvious

I was expecting them to meet at a ball or something grand. It might have been a little cliche, but its a cliche because it works!! I know we'll probably get something better soon but I seriously have to wonder why the author choose to spoil their meeting like that.
I like Tia but I find the business side of this series painfully boring and the problems feel to easily resolved. The family drama and politics seem way more interesting, so Im glad we're finally seemingly at the fight for crown prince position/the succession.

I know as readers we get a kind of privileged "birds eye view" of the plot so its easier for us to put things together, but I really think its a bit ridiculous at this point that the MC hasn't realized Zhenia is the crazy Bogandov.
I think the HQ sending a picture of Zhenia, the fake "Bogandov" attacking him, and Zhenia helping him has made him ignore his suspicions.
But at a certain point, ESPECIALLY after the dinner party, the MC should pretty much guess by now, or have a far greater suspicion than this. He even says "why did he come out of the shower fully dressed" and Zhenia basically SPELLS IT OUT for him why and STILL the MC doesn't have a light bulb moment.
I still really enjoy this story and MC, but please author for the love of god, let the MC be clued in, its getting comedic at this point
