Honestly I loved the story but one thing that left a bitter taste is the rape part esp the one where Jace was kidnapped.. overall it’s good for me but that scene was unnecessary.
personally, i love the toxic top build up bc afterwards they have the feeling of regret and they have a chance to try again as a better person. like most of the times toxic top build ups end in “he fell first but he fell harder” trope and it’s so satisfying to see (only if the setting is completely new and well written)
but don’t get me wrong i hate all the toxicity the top gives to the uke in the beginning but it’s like a development of character or wtv but this story is going a LONGG way w that.

Honestly I don't mind flawed toxicity at the start but Mingwa has overdone it, it was too much to be redeemable like that.
I mean it's 50+ chapters of not changing a toxic top, you'd need at least double that of redemption so the viewer doesn't feel like the top is getting off easy.
I hate toxic tops getting forgiven like that, sudden change of heart and Bottom eventually forgives & forgets.
Maybe it's just not my trope?
