When I started reading I was a 100% on JJ's side and hoping for Leo to realize his wrongs and improve.
But ch.13 changed my perspective idk likeee call me dramatic, I'm sorry, but getting violent on ur ex-partner (u can read the chapter: JJ violently grabbing Leo's hair and forcing his dick in his mouth) is when I'm like, bitch wtf is wrong with you.
So yeah, idk I now rather JJ suffer cuz even if Leo was a shitty brat in the relationship he doesn't deserve that lol. In general, like, no, being obtuse, dumb and immature doesn't mean he deserves that kind of treatment. But who knows, maybe I'm exaggerating.
I'll keep reading because I like drama tho and this is fiction anyway; just saying I don't like JJ anymore because of that.

We could've imperfect characters having a character development trying to improve themselves and their relationship but it's easier to just add these scenes like the 80% of BL manhwa autors.
Don't get me wrong I don't think every BL should be a masterpiece with nice deep characters and good plot, at the end of the day authors make stories mostly for themselves and that's valid and respectable, but as a reader idk it ends up boring me, why waste so much potential. Anyway.
Guess Hate Mate stays being my fav BL with the topic of imperfect MC done in a great way.
