It's good but what's wrong with that ending? What's the point of building up story if it's not going to be properly resolved? (〜￣△￣)〜

This makes me think, doesn't tengu have different life span than human?
From all the knowledge that I have (through anime,lol) of the yokai world is that they've extremely long lives. That included all sorts of yokai.
Idk why but this kinda... Well unsatisfying, I couldn't like any of the characters, except the mom and her bf of course ╮(￣▽￣)╭
