The person who has communication issues is Louis not the Prince.
Like he was hurt because he didn’t hear anything back from Louis after they slept together but he has always been open about his feelings with Louis it’s just that, that thick head of a men never takes any of his words seriously.
So don’t blame the communication issues as something Mateil or however you spell his name has to be doing.
I agree and disagree with this, bc Louis having communication issues is true but at the same time the prince does too like from the start he was honest about his feelings yes. But if he was really butt hurt he should of told Louis about that night like he did with his feelings. Also I find it weird that he didn’t tell Louis he’s the white rabbit when Louis was calling it quits. I know that prince and Louis are just having a hard time but they are both to blame for the communication issues (づ￣ ³￣)づ
The prince didn’t say anything because he doesn’t know Louis can’t recall the time they had on that night, he is under impression that Louis knows and deliberately ignored him after as he had asked in the note he had left behind for Louis on that next morning, to go see him in person and his reasoning to why he had to leave (as he needed to attend an event for his duty reasons.)
So the prince with that impression and the history that they both had (as he knew he was in one sided love with Louis) would never confront Louis about the matter.
And he told Louis that he is the white rabbit by calling him that and Louis accepted the nickname but Louis just mistook it again as him being called that as the princes replacement for the person he actually loves since the prince originally introduced the name “white rabbit” as the person he has loved for ages.
So it is pretty much louis fault, he just doesn’t want to accept that the prince might have feelings for him. And he just unconsciously is hurting himself and the prince at same time.
