I stopped reading this at chapter 54 because I absolutely hated the ML. Someone that also hates him, pls tell me if this is worth catching up to. I know it's only been a few chapters worth of updates, but i also know a LOT can happen in those chapters.
i wanted to drop at 36ch... but i kep going cause i thought the ml will change a lot... he's still an asshole. didn't change a bit. however, at ch 69 i could see that he might start changing a bit, but honestly, this is annoying as fuck. i only read when updated just cause i'm a curious bitch and i can't help myself. though i would wholeheartedly give this shit a 2/5 star rating. i really can't with neither of them. one is too aggressive, stupid and a narcissist, and the other is too stupid, weak as fuck, and overall frustrating.
i would tell you to wait until the arc finally happens and then ask again. maybe only then it will be worth reading, cause right now i'm telling you NOP.
but in earnest, i hope this will get better.. it has potential so i have my hopes that the author keeps dragging this forsaken situation just to make the whole drastic arc more amazing.... let's hope so...

I'm not asking for reasons to like the ML, so I'd rather hear if this is worth it from someone who also doesn't like him. It's really not that confusing of a concept. Doesn't matter though, I've decided to just drop this one already. Genuinely I don't want to see them somehow end up together.

People who like Jae aren't going to say he's great. They'll mostly give you an strong analysis about his character and let you decide. A lot of the avid readers analyze this story a lot. They understand the hate, but they don't understand the continuation. Most recommend those who has animosity towards this story to return when it's complete. I concur with that. But yeah, if anything, just drop and come back. Read some Titan's Bride if you're feeling spicy and sweet. Maybe Red Mansion or Tiger's Den if you're feeling dark or if you're feeling light.

I don't think y'all are understanding, I genuinely don't like these characters and I already got my answer. I'm not coming back to finish this or read it later. I love a good dark romance, but this story isnt that and honestly it just isn't good. I don't need a deep analysis to see that. I wouldn't be surprised if the author themselves drop it. The art and side chapters were the only good aspect, but if nothings really changed by now I have no interest in continuing or waiting till it's done to read. No shade or hate to y'all though lol finishing a story just isn't that important to me

At the end of chapter 17 when the younger "brother" brought up the beating that traumatized him, why did Alexi or whatever his name is not just explain the situation? Better yet why did he not explain why he did that like right after it happened??? I don't see any outcome where this has a happy ending, but i think an actual conversation would definitely help more than locking him up, raping and manipulating him. Like pls someone help me make sense of this. I can't even enjoy the power bottom smut, I'm too wrapped up in what's actually going on here
