I really love how the author is very good at potraying feminism. Nowadays, feminism is potrayed as an alpha woman who wants to be better than men, and that they can live by themselves. But it was simply not the true feminism is. Meanwhile here, they showed the different path women could take.
The first daughter, while she is poised and clever, has the ambition to be married to someone that can support the family. She doesn't have a specific dream aside from marrying with someone good/she loves like the second child who is very passionate at becoming a painter. Next is the third child who is very pretty but very uninterested in romance at all. While their mother, mildred is a single typical mother that does the housechores but at the same time trying her best to provide their family on her own now that the husband will never return. Another case is that girl who wanted to become a doctor and iris that promised to make a way to let her learn medication.
They're all has different ambition, different perspectives in how they wanted their life to be. This is, in my opinion, is very realistic on how women feels. Mildred never brings down her children's wants nor passion, and let them do whatever they want while still ensuring them to prepare for the times they somehow get married is also a very realistic parent behavior especially in that timeline. It was to let them know that both pursuing dreams and marrying are NOT a bad thing. Both are something a woman can and is allowed to do. Neither side is bad, whether its to marry someone or to pursue dreams. Also as a parent it was normal for her to warn her children that way. It was very necessary to make a back up plans for them to survive in the future.
Truly a masterpiece imho.
I become a fan.... of a singer... whose song I cannot and never even hear what the heck.
Bro thanks for the recommendation, I REAAAALLY wanted to hear this but I couldn't find the channel... I was wondering if you possibly can give me the direct link to the video/channel, please? My country is a bit weird and sometimes they also banned/blocked videos or channel here. I'm afraid that was probably the case but with the link I could open them in browser with vpn.
i think this is the one they're referring to? https://www.youtube.com/@stupia170
The true main character of this manhwa is the system... it's just a cheat, even though he did read the script numerous time... it just seems too easy and I cannot see any progression that will happen in the future. Everything just progressed too fast. He is too lucky, while still being oblivious...
It's an interesting read to fill ur time but I don't think it's a manhwa I'm going to eagerly wait for every week.
My complain is actually mainly because of the little amount of struggle he faced, so I really do hope he will encounter struggle soon! It will make the plot and his character to be more engaging and vivid.
Maybe a scene where in the future when he cannot read the script through the hole, so he realized he needed to learn acting for real. Or maybe someone noticed how weird that he cannot act sometimes whenever he cannot enter the hole... or something.
i wish author make him more insufferable chaotic inside his mind. Or then when he's drunk, make him babbling and crying that he's scared of being actor. Or he's so happy of given chance.
Adult man crying is so hot omfg
( ̄へ ̄)i mean like so far it's interesting, but if mc continue giving cool quiet image. it will be plainly boring sooner because reader already knew he going to the best actor ever with lots of awards.
I never understand why a 7 years gap is such an issue?? Like it will if the girl was below 16, but the girl is "technically" an adult, and they're only a betrothed atp, not yet married. Like... 7 years is not even that big of a gap. I've even actually seen a lot of happy couple with 10-12 years gaps and it's still fine?? It's not like he liked her from when she was a baby... also It's not like he likes her because she looks so cute like a kid.... it's because she is open and honest, that's why at first he seems disinterested but then start opening up to her, and such people can be seen as cute no??? I find her cute too tbh, in a human way not a pet way. "She is just like a puppy~~" is just a metaphor. Doesn't mean people suddenly treat/view her like one.
People should really normalize age gap ADULT couple and stop seeing them as taboo. It is not. It is legal. It is normal. It is NOT pedophilia. Even 50 years gap, who are we to judge... for goodness sake.
I agree. U can't expect an adult who's 21 in historical setting. U can make a story around it but I dibt wanna read every chapter and see some npc criticizing her for being past her prime. If ur gonna read historical fiction, u unfortunately have to come in terms that the fl is always going to be younger than the ml by a lot.
He is toxic from the start but it was still going well UNTIL THEY FINALLY FUCKED. After they fucked once, their relationship went from lovers to sex friend. Chemistry is no longer there, respect is gone, love switched with lust. I hate it. I wish it was still a shounen ai that focused more on love and plot instead of horndogs fking for 3 whole chapters with insult words.
Why do people like the side couple so much.... when the ML of that couple literally tried to seduce Jiho again when Jiho fight with Inwoo. When He used to be the guy who tried to break them off, and deliberately saying malicious words to Inwoo. He also still sleeps around while saying he actually loves Jiho. I get the uke of the relationship is cute, and he is a good boy that maybe can "fix" the ml, but the ml is still annoying af. It's not cute at all because of how the ML is.
I honestly think that they will have a nice relationship ahead as they do communicate and both of them did not hold any unnecessary pride. They also get alonh well in terms of interest and their conversations flows really well. Hanjun also seems to be the type to take care and spoil his partner rotten while yujin is the type that's good at taking affection from the other. It feels like Yujin will be the one who shows hanjun the beauty of love and the world.
I NEED MORE OF THEM THOUGH. I FINALLY GOT A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP COUPLE YET IT ENDED TOO SOON.

I just found this manhwa and bunge reading it. The story was cute and the members are being spotlighter well. But is it just me or the art really does change... and not in a better way...?
Yeah I noticed that too. They definitely simplify the characters a lot more than usual. I kinda hope it’s temporary bc I’m a screenshot-holic.
I mean even if it's simplified I really like it, it still has the same essence and I don't mind some simplicity, it might be because of how long each panel takes based off the complexity ^^
Not for me tho... I mean, I don't mind simplicity, and the art right now isn't exacly that bad, but I do miss and prefer the visual in the early chapters because they are supposed to be "visually handsome" idol characters.... Right now, the other members all still quite alright except the red haired dude that looks like a bad boy in early chapter but now becomes just an energetic boy, on the other hand the MC's visual downgraded a lot compared to the early chapters, even though he is the MC... the hair isn't as styled as the early chapters and has less strands and volume drawn... it is true that they still have the same essence, but it was quite a noticeable change...
I'm also a screen-shoot holic so it made me kinda sad... (/TДT)/
