1. The artstyle is why I initially stayed (when there were only 4 chapters out) bc honestly it FUCKS, angy knocked it out of the ballpark and it's perfect for the way this novel needed to be adapted. so glad to have that reaffirmed 2. reread recotextualized the story for me bc I made it a concious effort to see stuff from Jaeyoung's pov, and tried to empathize with him (not very hard). He's far less of an asshole than I thought he was. Also man when you're seeing things from sangwoo's perspective in early chapters it really helped that jaeyoung was constantly made out to be so hot (seriously, who looks good in all red when they have Auburn hair) bc it made sticking around a bit easier back then. 3. Jang Jaeyoung is so fucking funny and irrational. Sangwoo didn't even remember Jihye's family name or major and in his brain she and sangwoo were getting married in 8 years (with sangwoo still wearing the fucking cap). My man took out the RAM of his 2nd laptop (I don't think he's stupid enough to overload his primary one with files and softwares specifically so it could be formatted) and told sangwoo that it fell out of the casing. Not only that, he even carried around the RAM, OS, and a backup harddrive so he could get his crush's (the ComSci major resident genius) prolonged attention. what a loser. he cracks me up.
felt that in my soul. i cant stand this literal trash can sassily_jinxed
when he guilt tripped Glen for making profit off Ed and his porn I was seriously infuriated this dude straight up sexually assaulted Ed the day before and has been, at this point, financially exploiting him for YEARS just to ensure Ed can't escape maintaining contact with him. Piece of shit.
Roxanna is so fucking hot it's making me feel insane she is the MOMENT she is It man what a great FL (and the art here is top fucking notch, personally on the same level as villainess is a marionette and tgcf manhua for me)
