Same universe as nano machine with that rapist MC with a harem, but I kinda hoped this one would be different. god if you're gonna put romance in an action manwha why make it a harem?? It would be better off without any romance at all
if your looking for recs personally i think myst might mayhem is the best story out of the 3. It's in the same universe and there's no harem
Agreed, M3 is definitely the best of the lot by a long shot, and no inkling of romance. There is a weird non-romantic harem though, everyone in MC's corner is a woman. And if they're a man, they get transitioned into a woman. Bizarre stuff, but the MC is the real deal

No sir, didn't read the novel. I don't doubt he'll end up with someone later, but right now there isn't even an inkling, and with his personality he probably wouldn't really care about it so it wouldn't be a huge part of the story. Unless the author wants to lose their whole audience, they wouldn't do something so crazy. But if Nano machine has a hand in it then who knows tbh. All I know is right now the MC is worth going through all of it even if it does turn into a harem. I'd recommend reading the first 10 chapters to get a feel
I read almost all the chapters (up to like 460 ish) and there is romance but it's not harem. He has only one love interest and ends up only liking her I usually don't like romance in stories but I think this one makes sense plot wise and they go way back

These are spoilers so don't read if u dont want to but up to the point i read in the novel hes done it with 2 ppl but both are technically the female lead. The first one is this girl who looks just like the female lead and it turns out later that it's her reincarnated (so it technically is her and becomes her later i think cuz shell merge with her reincarnation). The second one is a nine-tailed fox that forces herself onto him and he doens't rlly have a choice or he'll be killed and she transforms herself to look like the female lead. but yea he's really devoted to the female lead and there's not many girls into him either tho besides her like maybe 1 other i can think of but im pretty sure its more platonic
i can get behind the first one, but the second is hmmmm yeah it's weird. so weird authors jumping thru hoops to force mc to have sexual relations with other women despite supposedly being devoted to one girl but anyway thanks for the spoilers; if the sex with the fox is like a one-time thing, and he ends up with the ghost and only her (with no side piece nonsense) ill check it out in the future.

yea i dont think he will honestly i havent gotten the chance to get to the end i think theres only like 499 chapters but i think it's hinted that the man the ghost loved when she was alive is like inside him or smth i havent gotten to the reveal yet. idk but lowkey hes the one desperate for her and he keeps getting rejected its kinda funny
The first half made it so unbearable and I was so anxious while reading but I kept going on cuz I wanted to see the side stories and when I tell you, it was all worth it.
Taeju is(was) a fucking asshole and he had no excuse to be one, not even a traumatic backstory because he grew up in a loving home but ended up that way due to the nature of his work, and I'm actually glad the author didn't give him a pitiful past because that made it easier to hate him and his development made better sense that way.
Euihyun is a fucking fighter, never backing down from all the challenges life gives him, always prioritizing others over himself, and is overall so fucking strong he beats up every single asshole who does him wrong(including taeju)
They didn't show the SA when taeju was in rut with rose tinted screens and actually made him pay for it so much, when he realized euihyun got pregnant from that incident and later on miscarried god it destroyed him so much as it should.
Taeju groveling was so satisfying after all the things he made euihyun go through and it was so well deserved, as well as him always getting beaten up by euihyun HAHAHAHAHA
I wanted to add that euihyun is no pushover and he knows what he wants, makes the right choices (most of the time)
Another thing I liked is how vivid the fights are, blood and all, they're actually thugs and euihyun beating an asshole up was so satisfying, dare I say it was then I realized that they truly suit each other. It felt like I was reading an action manwha(which I love) euihyun is soooo cool he's so hot when he fights.
Taeju is a very good dad and brother in law, the development is truly amazing and euiyoung?!? He grew up so fucking fast I did not recognize him at all I was literally drooling over grown up him it's weird cuz I saw him as a kid and a baby, but he is my current type right now and we do not have those in our school smart, wears glasses, has dimples, tall, haaaaahhhhh
I also love the moments with the family, it's so wholesome, overall I liked the story be sure to give it a try and get your brain and heart ready especially for the first half
