This is just my theory, but what if the fl did got married but to someone else (like her bodyguard) but then she died. Because if you read the first panel at the 1st chapter you'll see an old man reading a letter in which states "Women are properties of the family and they have responsibilities to get married of however I fell in love with a man and I was happy." (Sorry if that's not entirely what's in the letter but you get my point) even on the cover page of the book in volume 2 you could see "red spider lilies" on the hair of FL which symbolises "death". I was really sad because I feel like they've gone through so many hardhips I just want them to be happy together. This is the 1st yandere tagged ML that I've read, and the 1st time ever to really like it, I don't want to get heartbroken in the end. If someone have read the ending.
