...because I was getting a bit anxious about where the story was going. I have a quick glance at the comments each week to see if the story is kind of on track yet, but the comments don't give me much hope, so I guess I will wait a bit longer before picking this back up again.

I snorted out loud when I read how fast he learnt Japanese. *still grinning* Somehow that's the most unlikely part of this whole story.

This was hot. I really liked that none of us (including Mathew) knew how things were going to go until they went and that he was pretty open to it going either way. I really hope that means we will see them switch somewhere along the line.

This was waaaaay better than I expected. I got quite emotional while reading chapter 5 which is unusual for me. "Hello there abandonment issues! We meet again." Hah. Considering the high quality of the rest of the story though, I feel like they could have had a better beginning to their current relationship, because that would have taken this story from good to something I'd encourage others to read. Thanks for uploading!

Unfortunately the worst time to tell somebody how you feel about them is when they are breaking up with somebody else or struggling to understand their own feelings towards somebody. It will just make them feel anxious, pressured and resentful because they are already emotionally overwhelmed. Terrible timing Cain. (Disclaimer: I am neither team Cain not team Yahwi.)
