Lord Winfried aka the younger brother doesn't have a twin brother....
Basically one of the maids had an affair with the priest and gave birth to a bastard boy. She tried to get rid of the baby by burring it alive else she risked being killed with stones. The other maid that has freckles Griselda discovered her. As Griselda was shown losing her child in the past she took pity on the baby and saved him.
At the same time the duchess who is the mother of the twins summoned the devil again and probably asked to have another child, a human boy this time. But making a wish to the devil never ends well. She got pregnant and gave birth at the same time with the maid that tried to kill her baby. Griselda took this chance to switch the babies and killed the true son of the duchess. This way she saved the bastard child she somehow considered like her own and got revenge on the duchess for summoning the devil that got her husband to madness and brought his death.
So Lord Winfried is actually just a bastard child of a maid and a priest and not the true younger brother of the twins. What is even more twisted is that Griselda confessed she always considered Winfried as her own child while he seems to love her as a woman. Not only does he find this out but he is also hit with the fact that all this time he wasn't a noble or part of the family at all. It all makes a lot of sense as this story is so well written folllowing very dark themes but you gotta pay attention while reading

I really like this but some of the couples don't match like the manager boss who liked the blond headed author they should have been together I mean like just because he's tall ╮(￣▽￣)╭I don't understand why they could not be a couple technically he was pure and innocent and sweet just the mention of sex he blushed would have been the perfect partner and I could have seen the blonde hair pervert being into that they would have made a great couple he would be like you're different from my type of looks but your personality is exactly my type and that would have been a great development and why did he have to fall for kotaro like it didn't seem plausible when they fell asleep drunk I thought they would have been cute friends because they both seem like ukes that's where I feel like the Arthur went wrong and then the other uke who changed his whole personality his looks just for a different person I really wish he didn't do that and it made me cringe a lot I hope he would find somebody else ( honestly I forgot everyone's name so my bad)

Wow this is gold(⊙…⊙ ) I mean other mangas with like toxic Seme make me just boil with anger because the uke just takes it because they're stupid （￣へ￣）but I don't know it's the same but it's not the same I get more thoughts into what the uke is thinking and he's smart but he also will cave in for love but he's not afraid to voice his thoughts so it didn't feel toxic to me and the author is amazing for doing that because I'm happy with the ending and I'm happy with the relationship surprisingly it was borderline at some times where I just cried from frustration ╥﹏╥but this was an amazing story overall I recommend it over any of those other yoai's with toxic possessive seme ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I see some people are starting to feel sympathy for him so please don't forget he almost RAPED the MC (╬￣皿￣)凸 and another guy he literally beat him to a pulp and tied him up so he couldn't move and force himself on them why are you feeling sympathy for a person who couldn't get what he wanted and now he feels entitled and he keeps pushing himself and to the MCS life when he has no right to he's harassing him.... he's annoying I wish he would go die ╮(￣▽￣)╭
