There are 3 books
Book1: first life(season 1) (original timeline)
Book2: aelock regressed and klopp doesn't know anything from the first timeline (think of it as a different timeline where only aelock has the memories of the original timeline)
Book3: klopp regressed and aelock doesn't have the memories from timeline 1
Basically the author said that both the souls regressed but in seperate alternative universes. So that means both can't actually be with the person they fell in love with originally in the first timeline but an alternate version of them. Aelock is okay with that and he continues his life with the klopp from the 2nd timeline but klopp acknowledges the fact that the aelock he fell in love with and ruined was no longer here and he can no longer see him so the only way he could make up to him and pay for what he did was to treat the aelock of the 3rd timeline with love and respect.

It was disappointing. The whole 19 episodes were phenomenal like actually really fun to watch but the 20th episode was the weakest and hella disappointing. Because the whole 19 episodes it built up to how king fell in love with the chef who was in the queen's body. The king never loved the queen because she was his political enemy. And the chef came to accept the king even though he was man and love him as well ONLY FOR THE QUEEN TO HAVE HER BODY BACK IN THE LAST EPISODE AND THE CHEF TO RETURN TO FUTURE LIKE HELLO???!? THE QUEEN GOT THE KING'S LOVE EVEN THOUGH THE PERSON THE KING ACTUALLY LOVED WAS GONE AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER WHILE OUR CHEF JUST GOT A 1 MIN SCENE OF CRYING WHILE SMILING

The brother truly annoys the shit out of me. Everytime he comes onscreen I feel so angry and frustrated. Using the excuse that he's oblivious and ignorant does not cut it. Maybe she knows how the original story goes and is trying to follow it. But seeing him pulling away, causes her to act that way. Like sheās trying to stay on plot. But still sheās acting like a snotty brat that clearly is overstepping his boundaries.
