Nayeon’s brother does wake up from the coma. However, he is subsequently killed by the MC. He was already possessed with some kind of demonic/parasitic entity which needed to be exterminated immediately (only the MC knows this). Nayeon knows that it was the MC who murdered her brother and thus starts her conflicting emotions (her anger for the death of her brother and her love for the MC)
MC drops out from school after killing Nayeon’s brother and fully immerses himself in the assassin group he joined. All of his friends have no way to contact him. And then a time-skip happens (I cannot remember for how long)
I don't remember who the co-author is, but we do get an entire backstory on Kim Chundong. He's also important to the plot and some of the characters.

I think the jellyfish pious is cheating tho. she gave a hunter her power thrice. and it upgrades everytime. while the irreverent is punished when she gave a one time use skill.

Not sure yet as I also only read part of the novel. However, other than the virtual NPCs that he rizzes, there are two potential people he has chemistry with. One is a streamer who he forms a team with for a LIL (league of legends irl) streamer tournament. The other is also a disabled patient/streamer like him.
