I want recommendations for something like this, the setting in the 80s or 90s, healthy relationship without too much "homophobia drama" and that is a bl or gl. I just love seeing older technology or single-use devices (pager, walkman, telephone booths, landline telephones, ecc...) that time period just seems more candid and simple, I also really like the fashion. It's okay if the setting is in the early 2000s but it would be better if it's before '05ish

Me (f) and my gf have a 11 years age gap, their relationship reminded me of us so much (except the drama with Mr. Lim not accepting his feelings right away). Yeoreum's friend is right, usually people tend to look at relationships with an important age gap weirdly because of creepy straight men that always go for younger barely legal girls (Leonardo di Caprio I'm absolutely not looking at you /s) but then, I think especially for homosexuals, these kind of relationships aren't creepy and different from other ones. I think for us it's more common because we are already such a small minority, it's normal not to have dated much or not have found your person even when you are older (or being into an older person knowing how small our dating pool is) ((also my gf is a cutie and I'm her groupie... Too cute and adorable to describe with just words (灬º‿º灬)♡ )) ps: The shirt that Yeoreum lent to Mr. Lim as a pj is so funny and gave away so fast that he was gay LOL "real cowboys ride cock" LMAO

Unfortunately toxic relationships happen... But personally I know well another gay couple (they are our friends) were one is in his early 30s and the other in his early 40s and they are so cute that I want to puke rainbows, they have been together for 7 years. I haven't witnessed toxic relationships with bigger age gaps as of now but I'm sure that it happens like in other relationships sadly...

my parents are 16 years apart in age and I often feel uncomfortable with how people talk about large age gaps, like I get that it can be a problem but there's no reason to just assume that it's toxic when you don't know them. In my parents' case it may look stereotypical because my mother is the younger one but she is totally and utterly dominant in the relationship
This is one of the best reads I've had in a long time wth it's amazing T.T
