This story accompanied me in many life stages, I changed so much as a person in 8 years but then I would always come back to king's maker like a secret spot that makes me feel safe and warm. For me it has been one of the greatest bl of all time and I still think it is, I'm happy that I had the luck to read this story in my life and follow it for so many years, I'm happy that it received so much love that we were able to see characters that are so dear to me for such a long time and finally get their happy ending. This is a story I wish I could see animated. I hope that one day will come a time were such beautiful stories will get the chance to be seen on our TVs and not looked down upon because they have same sex couples, this story is so much more than just the adult romance between characters, so many tv show that feature straight characters having adult romance are taken seriously for their plot and received lots of funds to get made glamorously. I hope to be able to see something like that in my life and, again, thank you King's Maker.

I can’t believe what I just read… How could Satou do something like that to Yoshida? Seeing Yoshida like that made me so emotional. I’ve been following this series for a decade so they are like long time friends to me. I just wish the author could publish chapters more often. Leaving the story on this cliffhanger it gives such a bitter taste… I understand that Satou lately has grown to be more and more insecure. Actually his behavior makes sense to me after all he went through, he believes that Yoshida is too good for him and they are finishing their second year of his, next year will be their last, then the “real world of adults” will come and Satou knows that he can’t give Yoshida tha normal and simple life a girl could give him… It makes sense sadly but I don’t want to wait so long for an update, I want Yoshida to be happy again T.T

I've noticed (for a while now) that the author has been drawing Mitsuki differently... Like her nose, eyes and overall shape of her face, it looks less soft and round, more sharp... Idk I'm not a fan, maybe the author it's trying to convey Mitsuki's change (being more comfortable in the style of clothes she likes at school) but does Mitsuki appearance have to change for that? A girl with soft features can't dress in that style?

Right now this question comes up in my mind more often than usual since there is a focus on Kanna and Joe, at the end of the day all of this happened because Joe had to take care of Mitsuki and he wanted to let her grow up in Japan (instead of going overseas with Kanna) but WHY was he the only one who could do that? What happened to Mitsuki parents?

I just hope that this manga will keep on being a light hearted story between two girls and it won't take a turn like the Unce and Kanna story...
