Pretty disappointed in the latest chapter that in dropping this. There seems to be this whole debate about expectations.
In the beginning, I was kinda down to explore the whole toxic/enemies-to-lovers thing. I was ready for the drama and the tension ig. But the rape scene? That literally burned it all to the ground.
Of course I’m not expecting the top to be all saintly, good-boy, Hail Mary shit, but god forbid I just wanted some enemies, not a rapist.
It’s so damn normalized that everyone just ends up saying, “Well, the guy wasn’t good in the beginning,” which, yeah, true, but god forbid I don’t want fuckass rape blasted on my screen for the millionth time.
But at the end of the day… what was I even expecting when it comes to yaoi at this point?
