Hess's feeling that the world is going back to the novel story and she couldn't change the course of events. She was also stuck in the timeline like a loop. So, it's valid for her to react like that. She is just scared abt herself.

You need to be more understanding about hess' situation. She's tried multiple times to save kael and now the one time she feels she's *actually* making progress, she's beaten down by the fact that kael wants Diana to stay crown princess. Id understand him a bit more if he said something more along the lines of, "we can stop now there's enough damage done" if he truly wanted to leave this behind him and live a happy future with hess but he specifically said "I want Diana to keep her title" how do you think hess felt? Knowing that you did all that and Diana still seemed to have a tiny space in your husband's heart for him to be empathetic and have mercy on her. Ofc she would feel like everything she's done had been for nothing.
I feel this chapter through my veinsss!!! The world being the prison, breaking down the "god" sculpture! Senor!!!! I FEEL YOU! NOW I'll say!!! THE MAN YOU ARE!
