If I'm not wrong this is just the manhwa adaptation of an original novel made by the same author of 'My Guildmate Nextdoor'... and it definitely looks like they cut out a lot of the original plot from the novel just to make it fit into the format of the platform in which this manhwa was published (maybe they were only aiming for a PG-13 audience or they just wanted to give the novel some promotion just so people will eventually buy it???). Well, I don't know the reason behind this decision and it's such a shame it had to be done this way but I enjoyed most of the story and its characters. Ilya, my beloved, I'm so happy that you got your so well deserved happy ending ( ◜‿◝ )♡
Anyways, I hope we can soon get a translation of the novel and the extras of the main story. I'm looking forward to know how Jerry and Ilya spent their time together as newlyweds TT
Overall a good and wholesome story. It's actually so refreshing to read friends-to-lovers in bl without a bunch of unnecessary sex scenes, as is now really common in this specific genre. The manhwa may lack a lot of backbone in terms of plot structure and whatever (mainly at the end of the story) but I think the beautiful and detailed art style makes up for it.
I also wanted them to end up being poly but now that I think about it... my chickpea needs someone that can match his fucking freak !!!!

I finished reading the novel a while ago and decided to drop it right before reading the extras cause I couldn't help but feel like something inside me died when the story ended haha (spoiler: it took me a whole year to finally make up my mind and read the whole thing).
I know some of y'all are getting a lil bit frustrated with the pace of the story but some of us are really happy (and grateful) that the artist and the author are taking their sweet time to develop the story correctly.
Hyun Soo and YoungChan are such lovable and endearing characters, so humanlike and scarred like any other, oppositely to a lot of other characters that I've seen (or read) from this same genre, something as basic an yet rare like this isn't going to take 'a few chapters' to convey, it takes time, just like real human lives take time.
Be patient, be kind. Uncertainty may lead you to dark places, but you might be missing something great if you let it get the best of you.
Anyways, I fucking ADORE this story and I fucking live and breathe for slowburn, there's no other way around it.
