its pretty obvious. and the mc isnt nice at all.... he doesn't care about anything besides torturing the sword hero extremely slowly while feeding him his own flesh. that's not a "nice character"

i wanted to know if did Daniel found more clues abt his second body since then? also has it been told why Gun needed the major crews gone?
For your first question: we only get a few pages in backstories that features the old Daniel (James) but they don’t really give us actual clues other than he was a lot more included with Gun and Goo than (I) expected.
And for your second question: SPOILERS (I can’t remember if this had already been said in the story so sorry if it has lol)
So I can’t remember properly even though I reread the whole thing (too) many times but Gun originally created the four major crews to find someone to succeed him (and make money), right? After seeing Daniel’s potential he wanted to give him a “test” which was to destroy the four major crews. If he succeeded, then he would become Gun’s new successor.
But I’m not sure if Gun just has genuine interest or if it’s connected to James. BUT.. (theory below)
If I’m correct, he also told Daniel that if he destroyed the major crews then he would tell him about Daniel’s body — which leaves me to believe that since James was very involved with Gun — he wanted to see if Daniel had the same talent as James (or that Gun saw similarities between the two), hence why he’s so interested and decided to give him the “test”.
