Those people probably just started reading and then saw the word “brother” and asked here. It was “hyung” in korean, referring to an older brother, related or not, used by males. Lots of manhwas translate that as just “hyung” but there are some that really translates it to “brother” thus causing confusion to some english readers who don’t know the word “hyung”.
