In omega complex he was a young freshman and it was from (an older) mc’s perspective so he was like a persistent young brat tryna get his crush that eventually acted as a friend to him, here he’s 4 years older after serving in army, viewed from a stranger/acquaintance/friend perspective so he’s more mature but also he’s dealing with younger people and not particularly tryna be cute with them, but ye it’s still him it’s just he showed different sides of him in different contexts and times of his life
