ive re-read this manga many times since i discovered it 5 years ago. atp the whole manga is etched in my brain. however, when i read chap 1 on a whim, i always end up reading the manga entirely – its just that good!!!! beastars and dorohedoro have the most interesting world-building among every manga ive read; they captivate me every single time. and though legosi is one dumbass teenager, he will always remain as one of my favorite mcs. beastars truly is a gem of its own!!!

the sorcerer is one of the manga villains that i find extremely unique i hated him a lot especially when he was being such a manipulative bitch to his "children" (yukine included) and im also happy when he finally died but damn id lie if i say i didn't sympathize with him when he found out kaya was already long gone and the only thing he's pursuing was forgiveness that can remove all of his guilt (still that doesn't excuse his sins bc what he's seeking is not for him to take plus he inflicted pain to others hes a bitch till the end, a yearning bitch at most)
and this might be a controversial take but FUCK AMATERASU literally bless the sorcerer for criticizing her bc if i were there id question her nonchalant ass too
i kinda like the wrap-up battle but the part where the shinkis were tasked to kill blighted humans was too questionable to me that was a bit of a letdown i feel like they threw it just so all the gods will have a part, which was infuriating bc them shinkis were the ones who suffered most, they were once human imagine how disheartening the situation was for them while their gods/masters didnt care for shit
and REALLY wdym "heaven is just" when those gods were behaving as though theyre humans thats just a throw away reason to excuse the heaven's lackings, the "heaven is just" notion would only be acceptable if the gods were emotionless omniscient and all-powerful creatures not like the portrayal of gods here in noragami where they can die and make mistakes and lose a battle and cry and treasure shinkis and act like a fucking third world country government!!! thats the only thing i hated tho :p
overall this manga is AMAZING!!! im heartbroken tho bc whys there so little fan content abt noragami now where is the fandom??? am i late... what... :(((
