Right? I dropped it after 10 chapters because it didn't feel authentic and too over the top. The characters felt like bad actors because of their weird, unrealistic behaviour and expressions. Also the plot seemed like a cheap version of killing stalking.
yeah, i dont remember what chapter but theres one where the last page it said there "if u r a fan of killing stalking then u must read this!" (kind of like promoting the manhwa). yeah it was over the top, but i guess the author is maybe new to this so thats why the plot kind of messed up and it was like everything being thrown altogether in one place

before i started reading this, i rlly thought it was a light manhwa... but the fEELSS THE FEELS MAN.. r just too much... this manhwa is so serious. like the author rlly put in how it will feels like if you are in yeowoon's place. but i honestly feel bad for gleen, he might seemed like an asshole if we look from ryan's perspective but all in all i guess he was just misunderstood the whole concept. he was doing things in his own way, which, prolly seemed wrong to others.
the movies that he did with yeowoon, if that exists in real life, i rlly want to watch it !!! looks so pure and sincere. 51 chapters went by so fasttt im so shocked when my page loaded to "you have finished reading all the chapters in walk on water" ughh guess i shouldnt hve come this early. ┗( T﹏T )┛

I've only watched the anime too so I can't completely answer your question. However I would recommend reading the last chapter especially the last half "Garden of Light". If you can handle the pain that is, since reading it was what made me break down in tears in the end
