i understand the hate for taejoo, but honestly i feel for the situation between him and yoon so much… obviously they are not meant to be. referencing the title, their fate is to part ways. but it’s evident how deeply in love they were. taejoo spent five years (1,825 days) in agony over yoon’s disappearance. there’s no way that left no lasting impact on his mental and physical health. seeing yoon after all that time must’ve been a cruel shock (it’s also important to understand that time passed differently for taejoo in comparison to yoon who was in a coma). additionally… it’s even worse that it was thirty years of knowing each other?? like hello that is a LONG time. it’s really so unfortunate that they lost each other not only as lovers but also as friends. i just want them to be happy from here on out

idk that last line… yoon suffered so much losing taejoo to the cruelty of time and kwon knows this. he hit a really sore spot :( i feel so sad for yoon

i read the novel and there is still so much pain to go until they are happy i’m enjoying these cute, domestic scenes while i can :-(

i love how blunt they are with what they are thinking, it’s really refreshing to not have any unnecessary miscommunication

happy to see an afterword and bonus story! i feel as if the ending lacked a proper buildup to the conclusion (ex. after watching touma struggle with his feelings for taichi the entire manga they are suddenly married. the satisfaction of watching taichi and touma grow as people and end up together is gone, which really took away from the ending imo). i still like blue flag and the characters are great, but i wish we at least got to see a glimpse of touma at the end after all he went through...

i think this is a perfect way to end tokyo revengers. throughout the manga, takemichi realizes that hina is not the only person that needs saving. it was neither himself nor kisaki, but mikey who is the true key to everything. with each new future, we learn more about mikey’s bleak fate. it is arguably mikey who suffers most from takemichi’s decisions, who is at the root of everything, who prevails as the main person who needs takemichi most. it’s also hard for this type of plot to avoid getting repetitive, so i’m glad it’s not being drawn out too much... even with all this said i am so sad that tr is ending so soon. i will miss the art and characters dearly </3 mitsuya </3
