Even in this last chapter... in her place I give them a reason to "hurt" me and go straight to the guards to relate an attack and that they kidnapped the witness. Tara would probaby corroborate and they'd be in deep sheet... or even if her knight offed that guard and they escalated things she'd probably be able to pull self defense and accuse them from attacking her... but no... she's too dumb for it...
