Idk honestly i kinda predicted that S2 was all about their past life???
And honestly it's not even bad, it might not be focused on Ian and present Sol, but if there'll be a moment where Ian gets Brian's memories back, it'll at least make me understand their feelings, and how it developed to the point Sol is willing to wait centuries for Brian
Isn't that actually great? Knowing more about past Sol and why his love for Brian is a selfless devotion.
How the vision of one changed the perspective of the other?
Also makes you realize that humans were always arrogant, whenever there's something more powerful than them they'll retreat asking for forgiveness and the second they're safe they go back scheming.
(I mean there are people with virtues yeah, but past chief/head priest and present cardinals aren't acting differently from each other, that's how rotten people inclined to desire power | fame | blind devotion are)

Well... i don't have high hopes for them to have a real relationship anytime soon hmhm.
But rn i just want the omega to fill his duty for the contract, i don't have high expectations for the alpha either, he's just there living his life... and i'm fine with that lmao i'd rather see this than unnecessary silly goofy ass drama lmaoo
Idkw but i'm expecting second hand embarrassment for some reason lol

Reading it was fine but kinda challenging, esp in the parts where yeouiji and other mystical things were getting explained.
I feel like i lost my excitement towards the end.
It is probably because waiting for updates made me forget about certain points that might've been critical or important.
But then the ending was there and i cried, seeing them being able to hug once again and forever more was just perfection.
But hey, that seggs, made of pure love, their last "reassurance smile" while crying and vowing their trust into each other, their last one kiss... that was the best part for me. It was so pure it was just SO GOOD.
And yeah... emptiness.
I still remember my first thought was like "Damn he gets to be double dicked by the hot CEO"
But then things kept going and going, past events, future events, also illusions and ghostly appereances, mountain gods, demons and dragons
THE HOT NEIGHBOR damn he's also kinda himbo. I kinda fantasized some improper things about him.
What a surprise y'all, this was good.
I feel like to get back that excitement i should re-read it now that it's completed. But my brain says no.

No guys cuz... whenever there's an update i always read chapter 60 first to feel the satisfaction in that scene where yeon-ho said "i should've given up earlier" and "i'll stop bothering you from now on"
Like i'm sorry BUT THAT IS PROLY THE BEST SANE DECISION FROM A BOTTOM EVER TT i'm still not over it uwahhhh.
The "smiling in resignation" expression that Yeon-ho had... that hit SO HARD.
As i always say, redemption and retribution goes hand in hand, the ML HAS TO go thru a HARD way to get mc's trust back...

Honestly... this reminds me of a novel called "he doesn't know i'm dead" (iirc)... without the "dead" part.
And honeslty, the amount of stupidity and toxicity from the top is the same as the novel i mentioned... and i wouldn't be disappointed if the bottom ends up like the one in the novel .-. Sometimes it just serves the top right for not taking care correctly of the bottom, and eventually the top crumbles down regretting everything he had done but it's too late cause he lost him forever.
But also... the bunny boi is kinda mentally weak, not that he's inept, but he just can't think to make a rational decision or to rationalize things correctly.
The top fucked up big time for sevaral things.
The 'good' lion boi is kinda a "meh" addition, feels like a child meddling with adult problems.
Either way none of the characters are good enough lmao
But hey hehe i wanna see the end
I mean yeah Hyeon approached Siyeon just for his restorer abilities... so i already set my mind on never truly trust Hyeon til he'll say that he cares for him genuinely.
Don't get me wrong i love the characters.
Hyeon has his plan, he's a great leader and truly capable at handling stuff. He soothes Siyeon's paranoia, fear and insecurities giving him the right focus just to get a perfect result out of him.
It's not a bad thing, eventually they both get something.
But i can't stand to see one of them truly falling for the other, for now... maybe (?)
I think it's because the raids are not over... so my mind is telling me that Hyeon is keeping him alive just for the restoration... and it's true lol
But there's a little "maybe" that tells me "hey, after the the raids they might try understand each other more"?
But hey, I don’t know
