when i started this, was very worried about how bad the abuse would be - given the warning at the beginning. thankfully there is a bit (that is uncomfortable) but the majority is left to the imagination. still my heart breaks for the FL - who isn't the exact definition of the word "strong female lead" but given the life she had to live through, i don't think there is anyone stronger then her - not only to survive, but survive with her mental faculties intact.
that's also why i am so thankful for the ML - he is perfect for her; he is kind, understanding, warm, compassionate - but most importantly he is very protective. she needs people like that in her life - especially with that psycho of a half-brother around. love that her mother-in-law is also very devoted & overprotective - she a blessing IMO. Miesa needs to be surrounded by people that care for her, that will help her get stronger - strong enough to stand-up for herself.
but the mother-in-law's personal maid is getting under my skin - after everything she has seen, why she blaming the FL for everything?!? idk i have a bad feeling she will try & hurt her by helping the crazy King. & as she isn't a bad person (her motivation is that she thinks she is helping her employers in the long run). so kinda feel bad for the ML & his side to lose anyone to the bad-guys side ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ but am guessing, so i might be wrong - time will tell (￣∇￣")

but had to comment about this; i really love the costume changes the MC goes through. usual even if there is a clothes change, the character's have the same style from start to finish. so love that every few chapters she has a new look, not just clothes but also hair style ╮(￣▽￣)╭

him using Kartein & Pluton is just hilarious & a thing u do to ur bff's - drag them into a mess u created, so they can take part in the craziness ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ freakin luv Kayden.
but have to say i kinda wish he would stop wasting his power of inconsequential players like... Muras (in this chapter) he always does this & when ur injured or ur fighting someone very strong, wasting energy on a nobody is a waste of energy that can be focused on the main target. this worries me about him, as this can turn into his achilles heel Σ( ￣□￣||) & as much as i don't want this to end i don't want anything to happen to Kayden.
side note: until now i don't think i have ever seen Kartein fight, but those wings - hot dame the dude is an angle - avenging angle i hope - lol (≧∀≦) i need my family not only to win, but be save at the end of this of this fight ┗( T﹏T )┛

this was fun cause there was not only an end to the fights, but there was a point. let alone they were not the main point of the chapter, the character's where their growth was.

his father neglects him, while his mother abuses him. but as we can see, she was taught this behavior (1st hand) by her father. this a sad cycle that will keep repeating itself, unless the child gets help. only then it might stop.
that's why in the previous chapter i was angry at the MC for being a "mean girl" to him. i get it at the start, but after the previous chapter where she found out that he covered for her, to save her from his mother she should've started to change her attitude towards him.
idk if she will change & end up offering a helping hand, but i feel so sad & bad for him - i so don't want him to end up growing up in so much pain he turns bad Σ( ￣□￣||)

that poor boy was so neglected, until now i wasn't that mad at the father figure in this, but seems like he is the real bad-guy in this story.
he is indifferent, heck he down right neglectful of his children. only when they r useful to his name, he notices them (like when the MC changed & brought honor to the family name). he is the reason a servant who should treat her pupil with care, is happily abusing him. & until this (chapter) moment, no one knew or cared cause they couldn't be bothered to worry about the well being of this child - i am so freaking annoyed at the father, i wanna punch some sense into his head.
