For those wondering whats going on:
his foot got fucked up because his tailor made platform shoe for his disability (which is that his leg isnt proportional to the other one and didnt develop properly, but he can still use it fine enough, check chapter 1 for reference of what his disability looks like) broke whilst he was running and trying to escape from the vampire.
He was on the floor freaking out because he badly injured his foot (it looks gnarly and twisted) . Vlad related with the fact his kid also had the same disability and took pity on him and his injury, and took him back to treat his injured foot after gaining a sliver of trust.
Theyre SOOOOOO cute but im too emotionally repressed for this lovely dovey stuff i cant, but theyre so sweet and the story was really nice. Really like the therapists character and how he didnt stay hung up on that after the fact, and wasn't actually trying to show his jealous side, and him crying with all the tissues LMFAO how funny. And also red hair bursting out with nervous energy afet the confessions HAHA real, i really liked these little funny touches they added to this, made them feel more real.
they love each-other sm, and whilst that makes me cringe for some reason (things like little monologues and confessions of love, i just cant help it haha too much for me), good for them, really healthy and cute relationship, glad it turned out this way and there wasnt much turbulence.

Goodness me, my heart was hurting so much throughout this i was feeling physical pain and i cried lmao, theyre so cute when together, and i really like how the author portrayed their feelings throughout the whole thing.
A really good read, i really recommend it and i wish there were more side stories of them together
