I think y'all are forgetting that at one moment, the bed scene with Geumhee and Taeri, that Taeri was saying "Yeah have sex with me or forget me, don't ever talk to me again" which is straight up cruel??? It's forcing Geumhee to make a choice (to have sex with her which is worse) when at the point, Geumhee was confused to what to do because she was FORCED to be into the problems that Taeri started and that she thought she really died.
Like, maybe Yubora is also trash and I will admit it even if I love her but Taeri is also trash, not a saint.
This story writes rape in a very good way before yall come after me here me out I see in other stories not portraying rape write. They don't have how the victim feels, most just end up with them, or not even go to jail, or they get a redemption arc. But this story describes how the victim feels and what they have to go through. This story describes the victim's emotions sad, anger, ashamed, disgust, and even open. This story also shows how trama in realtionships.
