I feel like I know what you mean. Same here, I've really liked and already supported Blind Play since before all this drama began. That still hasn't changed. And I'm trying to be understanding of the fact that she's upset and probably not really thinking about the things she writes due to being too emotional.

But it's somehow starting to make me feel uncomfortable. Her tweets are literally all over the place by now. She started by complaining about the monetary issue due to lost revenue (which I found very understandable and was 100% supportive of), but then she proceeded to turn around and say she didn't care about revenue and would rather have less people reading her works instead of anyone at all reading inofficial translations (for language barrier reasons or other) - even if that actually meant less revenue due to the work being less well known - simply on principle (which I actually found to be a little petty and far less understandable). And now, she's apparently even spending 10.000 (!) USD on a lawsuit against a scanlation group of people who, from what I've gathered, are most likely a bunch of students who translated for others into Vietnamese for free (since there *was* no official translation) and are unlikely to have any sorts of funds to pay any compensation. Because some of their (most likely underage) readers said some immature mean things to her on twitter, despite the group themselves taking everything down and apologizing (or at least that is the way I understood it, correct me if I'm wrong about this part). It honestly feels a bit like a personal crusade to me at this point (which can't, imho, objectively speaking do much good one way or another, for any of the sides) - for which she is now even suspending the story us paying readers have been faithfully following and supporting all this time. Which is honestly making me a bit sad and disappointed, because it feels like all this hate and negativity is more important to her than us people who have been continuously supporting her work all this time.

But mainly, the way she has been expressing herself and replying to people lately in general (though, again, I'm telling myself she's possibly been under a lot of pressure due to some hostile messages) has been making me increasingly uncomfortable with its hatefulness and callousness - like calling people "things", "dirty", "disgusting" (at times with little to no provocation on their part, even)... Just... I don't know. I still really like her work and will continue to support it, because I don't absolutely have to like a creator's personal opinions to like their work (unless it becomes really extreme). But I'm starting to feel like she is someone I actually find pretty unlikeable as a person, which is sadly overshadowing my enjoyment of the story a bit by now.

yes that’s exactly what I feel as well.
Scanlators usually work for free, they don’t earn any profits contrary to what author thinks, making them delete everything and apologize I think that’s enough. She took it too far, she is sharing so much hate and anger through her tweets, I understand the frustration but damn chill a moment. I won’t stop read her work for it but ngl this is conditioning my reading experience.
Also lezhin playing all righteous about incomes and stuff now after being accused of paying authors a misery (despite being the most expensive website makes me laugh) and people falling for it and praising them huh

By the way, did you notice how they wrote they offered some of the "most competitive" conditions in the industry and implied the (concrete) information was outdated, without actually naming a single actual "current" value or really saying anything concrete at all (including even so much as explicitly confirming that the percentage the authors received had improved at all since before)? Like a true politician - saying and implying things, but once you look more closely, you notice they haven't really said anything at all. And I think maybe only one or two people actually caught on to this and said they'd still like to hear actual concrete information (and were, of course, conveniently ignored), while everyone else just ate it up and cheered for them ╮(￣▽￣)╭
