But I'm a little disappointed that the drunk jerking-off incident happened. It was their first intimate experience, but it felt off. Maybe cause I was expecting it to be more.. romantic? This is a slow burn, so usually when a big step is made, its super exciting-- but that felt so anti-climactic and such a typical yaoi scene. So blah.
Anyway, gonna pretend that didn't happen, and they're both still cutely tiptoeing around their crush on each other. This chapter had me more excited than than the jerk-off.
I really don't understand the hate for the ML. I get that he was kind of an ass by responding to the MC's adds, but in reality that kind of competition is healthy and it even boosted both their works-- so I also understand why he thought everything was just freindly competetive banter. He didn't admit outright that it was him because he was scared of how the MC would react, given that he expressed so such hate for ML's marketing persona. But he eventually (and very quickly) admitted everything, including his feelings, to the MC.
IDK, I guess I relate more to the ML rather than the MC who seems kind of indecisive and hot headed. His confidence is a tiny bit annoying, but his straightforwardness and sincerity make him a green flag I think.
I’d agree with you if he wasn’t just so smug about it all the time. There’s brimming confidence in what you’re capable and arrogance and I feel the ML is teetering towards the latter. A lot of his thought bubbles that us readers are fed often have a snarky albeit honest take on the MC (which I understand cause the temperamental MC whose emotions/ideals lead him can be kinda annoying for a lot of people) but it just rubs me the wrong way when he’s never shown his admiration or respect for his work until he started pursuing him romantically. And when others saw the ad copying they didn’t see as cute or endearing (what the ML seems to be referencing now) they came off as mocking and belittling.
I hope that at least we see him see and understand his(MC) perspective instead of catering only to how MC should feel about ML. If that makes sense

I thought they were a green flag couple, but after reading everything, they seem more like a yellow. Uke's the problematic one tho, way too controlling. And why do authors always write it in such a way that after someone gets sexually assaulted by someone else, their partner's instinct is to aggressively have sex with the victim instead of consoling them? Its so annoying.
