omg so sorry besties i just saw the replies i believe yeon woo (is that his name?) and jun both have powers stemming from that house. when they were kids, both of them ended up opening the black door and it unleashed their powers in a way. the story is called "black mirror" so that led me to think that the mirrors in the black room are what controls them and manipulates society in a way, sorta like a drug. because yeon woo(?) goes in there regularly, he's basically being consumed by the mirror's power and is the crazy psychotic person we see in the story. jun on he other hand, his powers are almost gone since he hasnt been in that house since he was a kid and feels maybe in debt, you could say to yeon woo(?) so he keeps coming back to him after finding him again. but, after going into that room for the first time in forever, he got a taste of the power and they ended up doing it there! thats all just my theory and thoughts on it though !! :)
since cain is a supporting character/love interest to help further jooin's decision in choosing yahwi in the end (as far as im seeing at least), they could've made yahwi such a better-likable person it's like they want us to choose yahwi but are making it so hard for us to actually want to choose him because of his horrible behavior and personality
