I'd honestly say that's pretty explicitly the opposite of what the story is rn. He still hasn't realized his feelings for the omega yet and is still stuck in his "everyone wants me by default" mindset so he's pretty much just assuming the omega is going to be into his proposition and not really trying at all to win him over, instead just asking for what he wants straightforwardly in his confidence that he's already wanted and that everything will go as he assumes
I can't think of a single instance where he's tried to seduce (like, turn on) the omega. He's just bought him food repeatedly. They only had sex so far when either one of them was in their mating thing
