I don’t think so. The original plan was to give the Uke Nux’s blood and turn him into a vampire. They never mentioned he’d become Nux because of it! I think there’s more to becoming Nux than just drinking his blood. The Seme drank it but didn’t necessarily do the ritual* to become Nux I think?
Maybe it only works on those who are a vampire. Director is a human, so maybe it's different.

Nope. The next Nux is the blonde guy cause the actual Nux bit him and gave him his power. The director is human, he drank the blood of Nux so that the brown hair can now drink his blood and wont die.

Because I thought he wanted to stop the blonde hair guy from becoming the Nux.

He gave the blood of Nux to the seme so that the blonde hair wont have any contact with the real Nux cause he is desperate for Nux's blood so he can give it to Doyoon. Technically, he did it for the blonde hair.
At first, initially I believe the brown haired guy wanted to keep the blood of Nux to himself because he didn't want long blonde hair guy to save Doyoon, because brown hair guy knows blonde hair guy is doing it as a favor to his deceased father out of guilt. Part of him also wanted blonde hair guy to look at him, and stop caring about Doyoon. So I'm guessing because unexpectedly, now blonde hair guy will become the next Nux, brown haired guy didn't expect that sort of outcome so he decided to give the blood of Nux he received to the seme. He probably had a hunch that the blood of Nux injected into a human would be drinkable by a Dhampir (Half Vampire Half Human species), also because he wanted blonde haired guy to let go of Doyoon and his guilt. Sorry that was explained poorly so it must be confusing, lmao.

it's Stockholm syndrome. In the end, Haruki didn't manage to escape from Hikaru's shadow. He became impotent because of the trauma also the guilt of hikaru's mom death. it likely fair & square but when he saw hikaru once again, he thought to fix all the mess up between them. i wouldn't say either love or guilty. he realizes that only hikaru understand & accepting all about him eventho he became impotent. that's why he rejected that man. he knows only hikaru able to accept him the way he is. so basically both are broken but they need each other to live even with or without love. they are inseparable.

Clarification needed... so they all live forever but are continuously reborn into their own bodies in a cycle? I assume Edric and his kin is a prime example. So they will be together forever being reborn, but if the kins are able to do that then have they also transformed from humans into partly vampire?

They have to be reborn every once in awhile so that they can keep themselves hidden without making the humans suspicious
What Nekoprincess said, but it's more "reborn" in a metaphorical sense--they simply de-age into children and cut all ties with their previous lives and start up again somewhere else. It isn't like reincarnation, it's just changing their appearance to be more youthful and then "growing up" again
