This is just my opinion. I think Daiki's refusal to acknowledge that what he feels is love is because of his past tragedies. Imagine the love of his life getting brutally k!lled because of him being yakuza. Imagine that self-hatred he might have felt. Thinking he isn't worthy for Minjun's love but half of him still craves him (thus, the physical relationship).
Us readers might already see Daiki loves Minjun but we ain't the one who experienced what he had, so the gravity of his past is his burden. It wasn't yet very established but I already feel that Daiki had experienced far worse that what was shown here. So I won't just h@te on a character just because he's in "denial" without fully knowing the extent of his tragedies. I am honestly suprised he isn't much of an @sshole like most of the webtoon I read tbh.
