Does he know that his father raped his mother? That would be big conflict alongside being left (temporarily). I really doubt the author would go that deep, I don’t see it happening.

Byul wasn’t a mistake, pardon the misunderstanding. Two things can be true at once; Byul being a blessing and the past being a mess. I’m just saying because if the topic of abandonment is going to be brought up, I’m sure Byul would be hurt to find out about Hyesung who had left him after birth temporarily. And it came to my head, I wonder how he would think about their parents’ relationship starting with rape, and even during.

Sure they bonded and forgave, and even if it was between them—that is the problem, the rape. But I don’t care as much, I’m just curious to see what the child would think (not a toddler obviously). Just like how things were resolved after the temporary abandonment of Byul. But it’ll still be a possible conflict when the past conflict is brought to attention again.

However, I do feel that it was an inappropriate response, but I am definitely engrossed on this topic and curious to know. I also hope that Byul and Hyesung get closer, I don’t know why but there’s something missing and I’m not satisfied.

Perhaps the “forced” reunion scenario of the grandmother and Hyesung will play a role in them getting closer? Or another scenario.

Byul's conception WAS a mistake that just turned to be a blessing coz like you said, it ended well for the plot since they fell in love and got bonded. This is too heavy of a topic that is quite divisive for the fanbase, I agree with the other commenter that it's unlikely for the author to use it as a callback to the plot in this work, specially since the main couple is already lovey dovey. If the subplot of the grandma leaving the main uke is used as a way to reintroduce that plotpoint, then the author would also need to give a reason for why Hyesung wanted to leave Byul so they can reconcile, and that reason would be coz he was a product of grape, and then that's a whole 'nother can of worms to how MC will see his father instead, it just doesn't make for a good story.

Also, I wouldn’t go up to a person and ask out of curiosity: What if your father had raped your mother, what would you think?

I didn’t mean to say anything controversial or deep but it was worded that way perhaps. Reading OP’s commenting, my question came to mind. But I also doubt author would make it go in detail or deep.

Also wait, Byul’s conception was a mistake? If so, that explains why I kept remembering Hyesung feeling anxious and resorted to running away. It’s been a while since I read the main story. I recently found out about this new story, and came running.

Maybe, but the kid needs a specific drug and o ly his alpha dad can afford it cause they are the ones creating it,plus it's better him find them that the loaf of creepy crap dad he got uggghhh

The issue is that the creepy grandpa and everyone else in the extended family knew about the kid, and if the ML is being treated this way who knows how badly the baby boy would. A child that would most likely be forcibly taken, under some silly pretense cause the opponent has outrageous money.
