I mean they made yul too “likeable” or more like pitiful. You’d sympathise with him enough that while you still hate him but you’d want him to get help and maybe even redemption.
But he’s done too much to get away scot free and it would be too simple (and Sian most likely wouldn’t have) to just report him to the police. Committing suicide seemed like the mostly likely last ditch attempt/ salvation/ redemption act for yul. Hopefully now he gets aressted and sent to a psych ward for help or smth
