She literally tells them multiple times that they can stay but she’ll be in charge but they keep pleading to let them stay. Is it a power/pride thing or? Why are they hesitating so much to remain working/living in the household if they basically get to live the exact same. For the staff is it like placing your loyalties somewhere else? Is it like if you stay, you are now working for her thus betraying them or smth?
