am i the only one weirded out by tbis lmao??? like are we supposed to be like "damn i cant wait until this little kid grows up so this guy can fuck him" like??????

No girl you're not! This is hella weird and so are these ppl saying there's nothing wrong with it just because he didn't do it with a child. He should not be knowing or hearing anything about sex at that age, even that doesn't make it right. This was fucked up from the beginning. ╥﹏╥
Baby kiyo knows he has to grow up fast so that his lord can fuck him and become a divine beast. ARGHHHHHHH
I'mma go kill myself bye (༎ ෴ ༎)

Yeah, he shouldn't have. L but if you paid attention, kureha tried hiding it from him. It was the crows that told him Abt it. Kureha's hands are technically tied. For one, kiyo is his chosen 1, chosen mate chosen lover. So he doesn't have a choice, he does have to raise him. But at least he waited till kiyo was a grown adult capable of his own decisions. Baby kiyo was adorable trying to help but he had no real understanding.. all in all, the chosen ones are sent to fit the preference of the divine beasts..

I honestly think the author did good adding in so many different backgrounds from the characters. The world building in this is unlike just Abt anything I've ever seen in a bl. Something like this isn't unheard of happening in bl. I've read a few before. It also touches on a very sensitive subject. Monster parents killing their children. I kinda liked that the author included something similar, but I also love the author made kureha a really respectful person. Someone can die at any age. Kureha didn't know his chosen one would be a child. And it isn't like he could've sent him back. If he did the kid would probably just be killed again, and in order to send him back he'd need to evolve. So his only option was to raise kiyo and eventually become a divine spirit. Sure the author could've done it differently. But I honestly like how the author did it. I think it kinda just adds to a story, I found myself questioning before i was even introduced to kiyo what would have happened if a child did appear(i'm just that kinda of deep thinker, not that I wanted that fs in the story. But it was a thought that kept me entertained for a bit. Wondering what each character would've done if their chosen 1 was a child etc). All in all, I really think this is a great story and if you can overlook the fact kiyo was a child, I mean hey you've gotten this far.
