I thought the uke was much more strong minded and strong willed. He sounds like the naive one dimensional character that falls in love with some bad guy playboy and gets thrown away when the actual main character appears and steals the gangster’s heart. Ik that sounds specific but I’ve seen that so many times with these personalities.
