It’s also worrying that there is a wave of authors coming in and asking the uploader to stop. It is understandable from the author’s point of view but I am questioning on where did these surge of authors came from? Manhwa such as Love for Sale, Banana Scandal, Mad Place, Blind Play and now this. Highly confident that it is social media, such as tiktok or Instagram…if they want to share, best don’t even show the website at all (even the grey background is unacceptable as it is so easy to track due to this website ‘popularity’), instead they could just post snippets of the manhwa (which they can state that they read on the re@l website…this could also support the author in a way and increase authors’ popularity instead of this website’s popularity)
Hopefully, no more of my favourite manhwa is dropped midway ,like Painter of the or Shuttle ╥﹏╥
It sucks that these English sites are being put down when Korean Illegal sites have the full publication and release pirated. If I could read Korean boi.
I always donate to any book I’ve ever read on here. I discovered these artist and books through here and the community in the first place, it’s just I personally can’t afford to buy every chapter. I’d rather buy a hard copy than digital. Then the price would be more fair, at least for a low income person like me that works to pay off tuition housing and family.

I would also love to pay for the books, but as you have said, I have no money to pay for EVERY chapter…if it’s monthly subscription like Netflix, I would have already been a long time subscriber ╥﹏╥…and not only that, websites, like Rent@ which host other J@p@nese manga is more expensive than Lezhin for each chapter. Lezhin is like 0.75 US dollars for 1 chapter (my maths may be wrong but I think it’s def cheaper than Renta)but Rent@ is like 2 US dollars for buying one Σ( ￣□￣||)…if only there is a website that hosts both Kore@n and J@p@nese manga together with reasonable monthly subscription, I think it would be majority of the manga reader’s heaven. It’s sad to know that this is a far-away dream ┗( T﹏T )┛
I totally agree, not to mention our favorite art be having 200 chapter, some super short and I’m paying like $180 for some short reads.

But like bj Alex, I seriously paid for the whole thing and then I found out they have releases of the physical copy that cost way less than I spent for minimum wage (in Korean though).
But I still gotta pay for a physical copy (If I want the physical) when I got the digital. What makes it worse it’s the same lezhin where I paid for the book that’s releasing physical copies, way to soak fans dry.
I wish artist can just open their own funding sites (like I’m seriously gonna open a site where the artist put how much they wanna make for a release book of chapters, physically and digitally and as they reach their donation goals, chapters can be released free of charge to the public) because I’d rather donate to an art donation cite for chapter releases than lezhin etc. it’s just they hardly pay the artist enough anyway so it’s a waste.
