I can't remember the last time tears actually welled up in my eyes from a story before.
I have felt deep heart ache to the point my entire left arm is tingling but never enough to actually make me choke up.
This was so beautiful, so touching and just so REAL.
Now this is something worthy of an anime adaption.
Actually I'm just gonna take a moment to appreciate something very RARE.
Anyone else notice how none of the characters are perverts?
No gigantic boobs, provocative angles, useless girls whining, oblivious handsome guy with a harem, not a pervert onii-chan etc etc etc.
Tbh when I saw first saw the title 'an onii-chan who rents himself' u can imagine what I thought. But this was just so pure and beautiful as it goes through the brokenness caused by the evil in humanity yet paired with a reminder that not all are innately bad as torn relationships are mended never to be the same but no longer beyond repair.
Plus the ART was excellent! I'm not going to overdo it saying it's the best out there, but to me, it was perfect for the story and I wouldn't ask for anything to have been changed.
Fr tho. Everyone (the readers) are crying the whole time. Crying in anger/sadness/despair/frustration/relief/joy.
Tbh this really hit deep. I nearly teared up when

Taehyun was at the funeral and started to cry saying 'I just wanted someone to say it was okay' like all he wanted was someone to comfort him when his mom died. Not blame her death on him.
That hit hard. For frick's sake he was NINE YEARS OLD.
I swear, I was re-reading this and once again, for some reason, this reminded me of miraculous ladybug, but gayer.
What a complicated relationship *smh*
But the way the author blended past and present to create depth to their history and significance to each other in just 3 chapters, well that was impressive.
I read chap 1 and I am wondering whether or not I should do this to my heart.
This is something that should never get a summary. Just let everyone go in, with no idea what's gonna happen just like I did and ExPErIenCe.
