Personally, I would never refer to myself as a fujoshi because I believe they have a difficult separating fiction from reality, and take it to a weird level. Although I've believed the over all appeal of yaoi to straight women like myself, is more about the emotional dynamic of the relationship. A while back(like years) I made a friend who liked anime, she became my closest friend and I practically left every "normal" friend I had. I had a few more otaku friends and a few koreaboo friends.
