No matter how much he apologizes verbally, seeing how much the brother resents him, only apologizing with words won’t save him. The brother won’t accept it ofcoarse like any normal human being

people seem to think just saying "sorry" once instantly removes them from any guilt or accountability whatesoever (its always easier to ask for forgiveness then permission isn't it?) if an apology is given so someone will forgive you; but YOU dont put in any effort to earn back the trust of the other person, you are only doing it for yourself not the person your apologizes too (its selfish)

He didn't do anthing. She did. Se studied and learnt. She went to the empire for 2 or 3 years on her own. She impressed those important connections on her own. She led the rebillion on her own. He was always in sidelines supporting her now and then. That's it. He said she had the potential. That's it. How she broght that potential out and worked to it, it was all her. She had been so far nothing more than a tool for him. Why he didn't marry the other princess because it can't bring him and his clan to the top. The other princess had her mother and the empire on her back so she didn't have to listen to Dowun like the current empress does. He put her into her debt so she'll remain in her debt till he gets what he wants. Why he was worried? Because he didn't anything happening to the pawn which will bring him glory or that pawn doing something impulsive or stupid... that is it... what contract? She was wishful and he knew that too. She said she'll do anything dowun says and anyone will know that she was in love. He didn't form a contract. He strategically used her feeling by burdening her with the fact that he can use someone else too and then give her a box to stay in... do you get it?? This was no fair contract but a very carefully thought manipulative statement made by using someone's fear of left behind.
