Honestly that's a trope I usually dislike... but on this one... I do find it important. You see, the fact she fell for him because she remembered her "past life" made it feel like she wasn't purely Celeste but someone else mixed in... like she became the person from her last life from how influenced she was. So it's nice to see her without those memories falling for him too... but yes, I hope she remembers soon too...
