people in the comments showing they have no empathy and 0 reading comprehension skills saying how one or the other is the worst character ever and they should just die... as if you’ve never been young, gotten hurt and acted petty before pleaseeee. both were wrong for acting that way, especially SR who started it all and made it worst, but damn can’t a character be flawed?? i’m not excusing his actions but he’s still a lonely child who’s had no one to rely on for most of his life that lives with an abusive father, of course he’s gonna be immature and won’t know how to control his emotions

Honestly what they're doing isn't even bad enough to want death upon them, they're just emotionally stunted teenagers who felt betrayed I don't think either of them are evil especially since Rik genuinely felt bad after they had that conversation (not saying that means he should be forgiven but it shows that he what doing it just because he's "evil")

i still don’t get the way he behaved after they kissed in ch13 when he threw up, he acted so out of character in front of the mirror, and i thought he was gonna act that way in the bathroom scene of today’s chapter but he didn’t

this is just my take, but from the latest chapter, we find out that guwon has been looking for someone who knows what's right and wrong, and who can call him out.
in ch 15 he said he feels that, ever since he woke up, it's like he was meant to protect the town, as if he's stuck in a role he was born into. he also hasn't been getting enough sleep because he's afraid of what might happen to the town if he did. the townspeople keep saying, "our only rule is to defy guwon. guwon is the key to this town. without guwon, we would die." guwon literally means salvation. and he probably believes he NEEDS to be the town's savior even though he doesn't want to.
before jinwoo confessed, guwon had already believed he was different from the others and saw him as someone other than their "salvation". but the moment jinwoo confessed, it threw him into the pile of the other townspeople who also "liked" him (guwon at this point doesn't understand the difference between romantic and platonic "like"). but guwon isn't looking for someone to like him, he wants someone to call him out and pull him from his role as a savior. i think that's why he threw up. he also says that he's "too handsome for his own good" which reinforces the idea that he hates how people always seem to "like" him.

nice one. i think so too. i would add that he has the mentality of a child. honestly, now that i think about it, when i was young i would think of kissing with tongue and i would cringe so bad.. it was like ewww for me. i didn't vomit with my first kiss, but i did feel disgust, honestly. so.. maybe he was just trying things out because he likes teach but that was a weird situation for him. i kind of get it now. also, he is crazy. let's face it. he's no human, so yeah. he's not right in the head and he's also kind of a dum dum with super strength. he doesn't know right from wrong so it's obvious he would make the wrong call and use violence cause he didn't know any better. he's learning things little by little and i'm sure we will see more of his crazy coming to light. this is fun. i enjoy the process honestly. i think it would be kind of boring if the teach would be all compassionate with guwon all the time. i'm super invested.
rereading ch1 it makes sense how uyun described jinhyeong in the beginning as distant and absentminded, after everything that has happened ( T﹏T ). (also the change in art style is crazyyyy)
